To remove a Helium miner (hotspot) from your account, you don't "delete" it, but rather you transfer ownership in the Helium Wallet app by sending its NFT (Non-Fungible Token) to another wallet, effectively unlinking it from your ownership, which is done by selling or gifting it, as the device itself stays with the physical location and new owner, but its digital identity moves.
Here's the general process in the Helium Wallet app:
Open the Helium Wallet App: Log in to the wallet holding the miner.
Select the Hotspot: Find the specific miner you want to transfer in your list of hotspots.
Initiate Transfer: Look for an option like "Sell" or "Transfer Ownership" (this might involve sending the associated NFT to a new address).
Send to New Wallet: Enter the public address of the wallet you're sending it to (this could be your own new wallet or someone else's).
Confirm Transaction: Pay the small network fee (in HNT) to complete the transfer.
